Agricultural Engineer

Description

Agricultural engineering covers subjects from aquaculture (raising food sources that thrive in water) to land farming and forestry. These engineers also develop biofuels, plan animal environments, and improve food processing methods. Often they work in offices, but they also travel to worksites where they oversee equipment and assure that all government regulations are met.

Qualifications

Students who wish to continue this stream of agricultural engineers must take science stream in class XII. After completing class XII with compulsory subjects of physics, chemistry, mathematics and preferably Biology, students can take up B. Tech/ B.E. course in Agricultural Engineering.
